The Department of Biomedical Engineering strives to enhance all aspects of that legacy. Our internationally recognized faculty conducts basic medical research and translational biotechnology development. We are affiliated with all major research hospitals in New York City through the NY Center of Biomedical Engineering. Our undergraduate program is fully ABET accredited and the NRC ranks our graduate program 7th in the nation in terms of research productivity and 1st in its diversity.
